The phase 1 of our project happened in South City II’s Bengali Market on 7th of October 2011. About 20 underprivileged children came to participate in the drawing competition. They were mainly of the age group of 7-13 and participated with a lot of passion and enjoyement. And what were the results? Some of them did have the talent which could make them a good artist in the future! For the first hour they indulged themselves in drawing and for the next, they had fun dancing and singing. Refreshments were given to everyone who participated and a cash prize was given to the winner Sabnam. No doubt it was a good start for our project. Pictures follow! You can see our hard-working Angad Singh doing a great job!
